Verkonvalvontareleet valvovat yli- ja alijännitettä, jännitealueita, vaihesymmetriaa ja vaihejärjestystä. Mittaustoiminnot ovat helposti säädettävissä releen etuosan kiertokytkimillä.
Verkonvalvontareleitä voidaan käyttää valvomaan esimerkiksi koneiden, voimalaitosten, ohjausjärjestelmien ja rakennusten vaiheverkkoja.
